Godrey Ogbechie

Earned her first degree in Agricultural Economics at the University of Calabar. She proceeded to begin her career
in the banking industry. She worked in Universal Trust Bank Limited and when she discovered an opportunity to
climb up the ladder quickly, she moved to Fidelity bank where she served in different roles such as relationship
manager, audit and human resource manager.
After a rewarding and eventful banking career, she was eager on trying her hands on something else more
challenging, and so she decided to join Rainoil limited an indigenous oil and gas company as the group executive
director. Rainoil limited has 75 retail outlets and two tank farms, where the focus of their business is adding value
to the downstream sector.
She brought to bear her wealth of experience garnered over the years to Rainoil operations. Her innovative
approach to business has significantly enhanced the corporate support service functions of the company which
include information technology, human resources administration and facilities management.
